Sterling Solutions, Inc., is the developer of VIMS (Veteran Information Management System) software program. VIMS is our only product. There is no other software program on the market that can be purchased ready-to-use with the features and flexibility of VIMS.

Sterling Solutions, Inc. is an established company with a proven track record for reliability and performance of software. We have been in business since 1991, and our offices are well staffed in order to provide maximum service to our customers. VIMS is a Windows-based high-tech veterans advocacy program designed and produced exclusively to help American veterans obtain their rightful benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs, state and local agencies. It conforms to all U.S. Public Law and the Department of Veterans Affairs rules, regulations, and policy. VIMS is the result of a cooperative effort between Sterling Solutions, Inc. and Veteran Service Officers throughout the country.

VIMS is total Veteran advocacy, not just form preparation.

Sterling Solutions, Inc. monitors changes in laws and VA regulations to maintain the effectiveness of the VIMS program. VIMS updates are produced as these changes occur. Following are some of the many features that our current users are taking advantage of:

VIMS contains a comprehensive library of over 500 CAVC (Court of Appeals for Veterans Claim) citations that can, on demand, be imported into your appeals forms and documents. VIMS includes a cross reference by topic, keyword, and appellant to all CAVC cases.

VIMS includes seventy-three (73) automated forms that will satisfy over 98% of a veteran service officer’s form preparation effort. VIMS produces a duplicate image of the VA form. Our forms are fully approved by VA Central Office and are routinely submitted by our customers to VA Regional Offices. Click HERE to see a list of the Forms included in VIMS.

The consideration of privacy has been an item of importance in the development of VIMS. Access to VIMS is fully controlled by password and access rights.

VIMS is sold in two versions. VIMS - Service Officer is appropriate for offices which provide direct client support, such as county service offices.VIMS - Claims Office is for offices, usually located at VA Regional Offices, which normally process claims originated by another office. VIMS - Service Officer is oriented to client visits, and VIMS - Claims Office is oriented to diaries and action pending. The VIMS Remote Site License works in conjuction with the Service Officer or Claims Office program.

VIMS for Windows is released in a 32-bit format only and is compatible with all 64 and 32-bit Windows Operating Systems (e.g., Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, VISTA and Windows 7)

The annual Maintenance Agreement, if purchased at time of sale, becomes effective at the end of our warranty period. The annual Maintenance Agreement includes VIMS enhancements and updates at no charge, updates to automated forms at no charge, and unlimited toll-free service for VIMS software technical and training support.

VIMS is a dynamic program that will continue to evolve with the help of all veteran advocates. Sterling Solutions, Inc. will continue to enhance the program to meet changing and emerging needs and in response to Department of Veterans Affairs requirements.
